Palworld has a heavy focus on survival elements, so it's important to have somewhere to rest, grow food, and craft items for the next expedition. These guides explain how to craft useful items and establish bases in the wilderness of the Palapagos Isles. Many of the items that can be crafted are useful in exploration too, or are simply necessary to survive, so these guides are likely to remain useful throughout a playthrough as players unlock more crafting recipes and construction materials on their journey.

In a Steam FAQ, Palworld devs also teased the possibility of trading. Trading is an interesting addition as there is a way to already, though it is not official. If multiple players can access the same Palbox, it is possible to trade Pals by placing them into one of the worker slots. However, that trade has limitations and could be fixed in a future patch if it was a technical mistake. This trading change also looks to allow players to trade between worl

Pals are an essential part of Palworld's gameplay, so this section contains guides on how to catch, summon, and care for Pals. Of course, it also includes some information on how to put them to work. At the time of writing, the Paldeck contains entries for 111 different Pals, so as their locations are discovered we'll be adding guides on their locations to this section.

Partner Skills are skills that your Pal can use while they are summoned to your side. Some Partner Skills take effect automatically , others have to be triggered manually , and still others require special Pal Equipment before they can be used.

A major component to sustaining a base that can provide protection and plenty of materials and food is putting focus on the technology one unlocks. Technology can be unlocked after every Player Level increases , by receiving several Technology Points. Using them is permanent, meaning once they are spent, the purchase cannot be reversed. Players also get one Technology Point per Fast Track checkpoint unlocked.

Jolthog is an electrified hedgehog and a pretty small Pal overall. It’s one of the few Electric-type Pals that will be around the starting area and even then they are quite rare. Instead of wielding it like a gun, players will instead throw their Jolthog when the Partner Skill is activa

It's important to note that in the early stages of the game, players are rewarded for building certain structures. To craft them, they will need to be unlocked in the Technology section, which is found in the game's menu. Prioritize these crafts first before moving on to whichever area suits the player's needs. Later in the game, building ingredient mills and farms will benefit the player in the long term, as hunting for these items will no longer be a requirement to survive.

Tocotoco has an explosive Partner Skill too but it’s way different compared to Jolthog’s. This Neutral-type Pal can be picked up and then players can shoot eggs…check out this blog post via Palworldcorner.com of its butt. This is a real element in Palworld’s gameplay and Tocotoco strangely looks okay with the whole th

For example, if you need Flambelle to utilize the Kindling ability instead of its Magma Tears ability, you can add more Fire Element Pals to your base team, or fill the Ranch with other Pals so Flambelle is forced to use Kindling, instead.

Each Skill Fruit teaches a specific skill within that Element Type. In that way, no two Water Skill Fruits are the same. While they may look the same, one Water Skill Fruit may teach your Pal Bubble Blast , while another may teach it Aqua Gun . This will be specified in the Skill Fruit description.

Once activated in battle, Lifmunk will jump on the player’s head and start firing a submachine gun for a limited time. This ability runs on a cooldown which is different from the previous two saddled Pals. The head mounting is a bit like the battle system in World of Final Fantasy which is another Pokemon cl

It’s not the fastest but it will be the quickest to capture early on. One of the best things about ground mounts is being able to take down bosses while on their backs, shooting weapons like a bow and there are many types of them in Palwor

Lifmunk is more than a hologram in Palworld as its real counterpart is a grass-type Pal that looks like a squirrel version of Leafeon from the Pokemon series. Lifmunk’s Partner Skill item will turn the player’s head into a sad

It's a derivative system of the aforementioned Pokemon series but there is something unique in Palworld to help it stand out as an open-world game with survival and RPG mechanics. Partner Skills are unique abilities to a few select Pals in the game. They can range from weapon-like abilities to ways players can ride them. Palworld runs the gamut of skills, so let's see what is in st

Before building the base that will ultimately change the way Palworld feels, players must first create the Palbox. This tool helps keep captured Pals in stock, storing up to 480 of them in total. Once the Paldeck is installed, players can begin building their base and creating large structures for shelter and material crafting. This may feel limited at first, but the more the Player Level grows, the bigger and better the tools and items begin to show up in the Technology section.
